]]> Bull Moose in Algonquin

Amazing creature, much bigger then I realised. Managed to capture lots of shots, this one was him staring us down as we came around the bend in our canoes.

I had a few days off in Algonquin Park, Ontario this weekend. Amazing trip involving lots of Portages, we saw plenty of wildlife and I got lucky managing to grab a shot of this stunning Bull Moose. He was just hanging out along the river, showing off his antlers. Just before we met this guy, we encountered a pack of wolves in the distance. A sight I will never forget, wild wolves running along the waters edge.….just too far off to get a pic.….maybe next time!  (Big thanks to Matt & Dave!)

]]> Busker fest 2012 - Toronto

Silver Elvis Busking along Front Street in Toronto during Busker Fest 2012

My new website is well underway and I have a new feature! “Photo of the week” (I borrowed this idea from an amazing photographer who you can look at here http://www.avigerver.com/#home/) I aim to show my favourite shot taken each week, either for work or for the love of photography!

For this image I have used a collection of shots taken with my favourite lens (45mm TS) — love it, all the effects are in camera and no need for instagram :0)

First time I have been to Busker fest, great fun in support of a great charity (more details here, charity event for Epilepsy Toronto)

Wicked food too! Especially the smoked meat!

]]> Fun in the snow! I recently shot these Engagement images in Toronto for a lovely couple who are getting married later this year. It was one of the few very cold days we have had in Toronto this winter (We have had a very English winter so far!) — We had fun with a quick snow ball fight and a mixture of posed and natural shots.  I like to offer a mixture of colour, black & white and toned images. I look forward to shooting their wedding in a few months time!
